I've jumped ahead. It is now 08-30 and the last blog entry of an unfinished storyline is 06-18. I don't know how to create a complex story of two different place/times in a blog. I'll think soap opera about it.

We: Andy, Frank, Don, David, Tony, and myself went to Killarney Provincial Park on a five night six day expedition.

This is my way of showing the guys photographs I took of them on the trip. They know the route:

In: Two nights on Bell Lake 5 km paddle across it to 30 meter portage to a night on Balsam Lake. Four km paddle across Balsam, 665 meter portage to David Lake 5 km paddle to a 3 km portage to Great Mountain Lake. Three kilometres across Great Mountain to a 170 meter portage and a 500 meter paddle to the apogee on the Gail Lake quartzite stone skateboard park.

Out: After 1 night on Gail Lake, 500 meter paddle back to the 170 meter portage to Great Mountain Lake, 3 km portage to a 1 night camp on David lake. On the final day and out back to civilization: 4 km paddle across David Lake to a 200 meter portage and down a river 1 km to a 750 m portage back to Bell Lake and a three kilometer paddle to parking and a 400 km 6 hour motor portage back to Toronto.

I had a great time. It was good fun and safe to be with a strong reliable party. Tony and I got a lot of photography and sketching done...
