Teukros missed Hektor but struck Gorgythion, his half brother.  Teukros aimed hard and shot but Apollo nudged the arrow which stuck Hektor's driver; Arkheptolemos, near the nipple.  Hektor leapt from his chariot and cast a stone at Teukros which struck his collar bone and snapped a tendon.  Teudros dropped and his brother, the large Aias, covered him with his shield.

With the wounding of Teukros the Greek counter attack was broken.  The main mass of the Greek force retreated behind the wall and ditch while Hektor killed stragglers one by one.
