John
Snow made lithographs of the same domestic subject many times.
It was the composition and colors that interested him most,
the subject was secondary but interesting too. Many of
his prints represented a character sitting at a table which
contained a still life and behind, on the wall, is a window
or a painting or a curtain or screen.
John
Snow and Maxwell Bates where friends, they shared a graphics
studio in the basement of John and Kay Snow's home. |
